Web 2.0 continues fom 11-18-2008

The two other sites that I looked at were the health page and the education page.
I looked at the the health page because I am interested in it.
The things I found that are available are sites such as:
revolutionHealth. It's a go-to source for on-line health information, which include things
such as articles, polls and discussion. Then there was PEERtrainer. With this site you can
connect with other people of similar interests, in this case training and fitness. This would
help in keeping the lines of communication open. It's like a support group to help keep you
healthy and people who share the same goals as you. Then there was also iMedix. Here you
can find and then share information about health with other people of this online resource.
I found these to be very valuable resources to keep up to date on being healthy.
I also looked at the education page. There was a site called.docstoc. This is a compilation
of documents, such as legal, educational, technical, and business. They can be downloaded
for free, and you upload your own files in a number of formats. Then there was Mango.
This would put you into total immersion language learning through the internet. It would
expose students to conversations with native speakers. How cool is that!. There was also
SpanishPod. This would enable someone to go through 183 free Spansish lessons and read
5030 Spanish conversations, improving these skills and connect with other students.
I could have used this when I took Spanish classes.
