Open Source From Oct. 7

Since joining OCLS many years ago, technology has changed the way I use
and provide information through the opportunities available with the
Orange Peel. This has helped to keep updated on what is going with
the library and other current events. The E-mail has helped significantly
as it enables to send information back and forth quickly to keep up
with what is going not just in our departments but also in the rest
of the library. The use of halogen enable us to keep track of our daily
activities and aide us in doing our yearly evaluations. I found that to be
a tremendous asset in providing information.
I like the idea of open source. Number one it's free, but also being to
share, change and modify. That can help to understand information
more clearly.
